FINALS(LY)

I dont know how to feel because the end of 2008-2009 school year is coming but also exhausting finals are coming again.
we shall all study before thinking about our summer plans because in order to have fun during summer we have to get good grades so that we wont be thinking for the exams which will occur at the end of summer.

Scavenger Hunt

when i first heard the word "scavenger hunt" i was dissapointed because i thought that it would be boring stuff, but i was wrong:) it seems like an entertaining activity and i think that we are doing it right at the time because we just finished our second exams and we have to relax:)

Galatasaray

Right now, i am watching the game of galatasaray. the game is between gs and ibb. im sad that i couldnt go to the game because Ataturk Olimpiyat Stadium is far away from my house. the weather is perfect for a game!:(
my favorite player is Harry Kewell, he is a really good player and also, he is so hot:) hahaha but 16 years older than i am.
i dont think that we will become the champion of this year but it will be great to win this game because then fener will be behind us.

Infants

when i was at the age of 5 i thought that my daddy was mickey mouse. i just remembered this today while looking through my pictures as a sweet little girl. my dad always played with me and my sister and pretented to be mickey mouse. i believed that his job was being mickey mouse because he did its acting really good. i wanted to share this with you because i think that it is hilarious.

SUN

heyyy :)
as of yesterday summer has began officially:) now sun sets later. the only problem is summer is coming faster than i thought it would. if you are chubby, like me, you have tons to do.
things to do list :
1. you have to eat less because summer is coming and you are going to wear bikinis.
2. you have to exercise so that you'll have the perfect shape.
3. if you don't want to have only a good-shaped-body but also strenght you have to go to fitness at least 3 times a week.
4. i want to tell you that after losing weight i think you should do pilates because it makes you look perfect !

EXAMS ALL OVER AGAIN

Second term has officially started the week before. Exams have started and thank god they'll be over tommorrow. i hope that they are passing good because my aren't. i guess my problem is that i couldn't realize how integral exam week was because i didn't start working until last tuesday night. after having an overall grade in first term i let it go.
now, i understood how important the second term is. i hope that my other exam week will pass better than this.
do not do the same thing as i did during the second exam week or else you'll regret just as i do.

New York, New York !

During the semestr i was in new york, having lots of fun while practising my english:) it wasnt my first time that ive been there but it was as fascinating as if the first time because new york is a great place! you can visit different museums or libraries. a new york trip isnt based on shopping, you can learn lots of different things of dissimilar countries.
i ADORE new york because it is a big city with amazing places to have a meal:)

Finally, The Weekend :)

After the hard week of exams, we are free for two and a half days:) It's like breathing freshly in the nature again, because the burden of studying just flew away from our arms.

dont get sad if your finals arent as good as you have expected because you have a second chance on the second term :)

FINALS !

i hate the fact that we have finals this week because i am already bored of the exam week. i hope this week will pass better than the other one because we have harder exams and it is hard to concentrate before the 2 weeks of holiday we have. i can not stop thinking of it.

New Year

happy new year:) i wish we'll all have a better year than 2008.

Every man should be born again on the first day of January. Start with a fresh page. forget about the pain you have caused or the pain that you have lived, forget the ones who have let you down or the ones you have let down. Erase all on the first of January let every man forget himself once more, take no interest in the things that were because now they are all the past. its a time for new pages to be written, a time for new thoughts to be thought, a time to set new goals to chase after. time to learn how to trust again if you were hurt, remember how to love. understand when to let go. after all its the start of a new year, a new beginning.

soundtrack

i think that soundtrack is the most important feature in a movie. it makes the audience feel the emotions more clearly because if it is a scary movie the soundtrack rises the tension, if it is a tradegy movie it makes the audience cry. not only the sound makes you get affected from the movie but also the diagetic sounds effects you.
i think i consider soundtrack the major element of a movie because i really like music and i think that with out music our life would be boring because music gives us the vibration to live:)

school

we just had a 10 days holiday, but i guess it wasnt enough for any of us. school has started and we have to get used to our old tempo because our second common exam of english is approaching. we are starting our commentary writings next week, so we have to be egear to learn how to do our best in a commentary writing. we dont have much time left, but i think we can all do a good job by learning the vocabulary of cinematography and the vocab words that our teachers gave us.

computers

computers computers computers... nowadays all of our lives depend on computers, especially on internet. we do not even use encyclopedias anymore. whenever we have research homeworks we just copy paste other's work on the internet and we don't even read it ! then we talk about knowledge... with out learning whatever you are presenting in the class how do you expect to be an intellectual person? your high grades doesn't show how clever you are.
we should all stop using internet in every second of our lifes. it may be more practic but it will ruin your knowledge.

Issiz Adam

Yesterday night i went to cinema with my friends and we were all curious about Issiz Adam because every friend of mine was talking about it during this week. i think that it was a good movie but it wasn't as good as i expected. i think i am the only one who didn't like it a lot. maybe i didn't like it a lot because everyone was talking about it and it made me think about the movie in a different way. however, it made the tears slide down my cheecks.

Family Day, Sunday

Today when i woke up it was 10 am. i finished my homework and took a shower. than i had a walk with my dog ross. the weather was cold but sunny -a type of weather which i like during winters. when i arrived home, i saw my best friend and his family at my house. then we went to yenikoy and took a boat trip with gokcek and butros family. it was cold but a jean and a coat was enough to make you warm.
after the boat trip which lasted for two hours, we went to a dinner at swiss cafe which is a small but a nice place to have a typical swiss food with your family and your friends.
than we walked for a half an hour because we had eaten a lot:) it was an enjoyable sunday.
i hate the fact that i have to read my turkish book now.

" Just My Luck "

Do you think that you are lucky? Well, i think i am a lucky girl. especially for this week, because we all know that parents-teachers day is coming and lucky me, my parents are in new york :)
luck isnt always good, but it may also be bad. we usually use the term : "JUST MY LUCK." i have an internal conflict about luck and fate in my head. i think they are both the same thing. if it is meant to be it just happens. we stereotype the word luck, we use it for good things only but i think it is wrong to consider luck as if it is only a good thing.
fate and luck. two terms that are different but same in my head, as i said before we use the term : "JUST MY LUCK" and i think that we can also say : "JUST MY FATE" because indeed they are both the same thing.
isnt fate everything in our lives?

Soccer :)

I am a big fan of galatasaray and some of my friends think that it is weird for a girl to be a big fan of soccer. All of the soccer fans have been waiting for the big game of galatasaray and fenerbahce.
The score is 2-1 for the first 45 minutes but i hope we will win, because since i was born, galatasaray have never won a game at the stadium of fenerbahce. (Sukrusaracoglu) It is really bad for galatasaray that they didn't accept our second goal.
I hope Galatasaray will winnnn :)


This was my point of view before the game ended but unfortunately Galatasaray lost :( by 4-1. Good luck for next time :)

Sunny Sunday

Today I woke up at 10 to finish my homework and study for my exams. It is hard to concrate while your family is downstairs watching tv and having fun. I first studied social studies and had a brunch with my grand-parents, my aunt and my cousins. After the grand brunch i continued to study but i stopped with a dog bark. it was my other cousins new dog. it was the same specie as my dog ross, they are both pugs. We walked them and then i studied again.
this is the best way to study i think:) to have fun and study more afterwards. it is better because you get to have a break and study even more after it.
since this is our exam week i think we must all do the same thing. study when we come home after the school and watch a tv for a half an hour and study again. it is a more attentive way to study.

Fall

Today, I was watching the trees while reading my book, Gossip Girl. It felt so bad, summer is officialy over. Winter is coming. I hate winters, the weather is cold, windy and sad. The only part that I like about winter is different kind of clothing. We get to wear boots, jackets, blazers, leggings.. It feels good wearing those furry things. They are soft and comfortable.
Why I prefer summers? My first reason is we don't have school :), but it is not the only reason. We get to go to camps and meet people from all over the world. We get tanned and live our lifes in a way. We don't have any responsibilities. It's is just like a living in a dream.
Fall is the saddest time of the year. Leaves are falling, trees become nude and the weather is between windy and rainy. That is the worst thing for me, not knowing what to wear and being cold or warm because of your clothing choice. I consider leaves like tear drops, trees cry -as i sad before, it is the saddest time of the year.

Our Excursion

Sun rises, and another school day begins. You wake up in the middle of your dream and get on your service buses, in order to come to school. Today was a different day than the others. First of all it was a casual wednesday, second of all we didn't have any classes because we had an excurtion to Buyuk Ada.
When we first heard that we were off from school, we had a big smile on our faces, but when they handled out the assignment that we had to fill, tear drops slided from our cheecks. We thought that it would take a long time to finish the assignment, but hopefully it didn't :). Maybe some of us had a difficult time while finishing it, but my friends and I had a wonderful time.
It may sound weird, but we actually enjoyed the assignment, because we learned about the Buyuk Ada life while having fun. It was an enjoyable assignment. I think we can have more excurtion days with the school :).
